Tired and depressed

Been really busy last couple of days. Still not sorted out the stuff I brought from the other two offices. Things are just sitting there in boxes and bags and I move them from one corner to the other. Untidy jumble is invading my home and office and it is getting me down. How did I manage before with three places to run? My friends keep telling me that it is the upheaval. Once things go in their places and people stay in their places (ha ha, some hope) then I will relax and see the benefits. One employee on holiday for the next two weeks so it is definitely not going to happen in the near future.

The photocopier isn't working. The CCTV is only half working. The TVs in two rooms have two channels each which are not focusing. The central heating isn't working and understandably I can't keep my staff in cold. Told them to use other parts of their bodies more (including brain) than their tongues but it didn't go down very well. Electric heaters make them dry and calor gas heaters give them headache.

Did you hear the gale force in the late night? It was blowing 90 miles per hour. Wheelie bins were flying and a few trees have fallen at the back near the pond. To top it all up I heard a noise. The yard wall and wooden gates with another 5' wooden frame on top of the gate had just collapsed falling outwards. Luckily no one was there or it could have hurt them. So it's all taken down now leaving the back open. More time wasting with estimates and arrangments, not forgetting the money.

I am just going to lie down on the sofa and watch casualty - something I haven't done for a very long time. Enjoy your evening. Bye.

Comments:
I woke in the early hours to hear the wind howling and then the sound of something falling off the roof that turned out only to be a slate. Though the sight of it sticking vertically in the lawn somehow looked very scary. But nothing as damaging as you seem to have had.

I loved your quote:
"Told them to use other parts of their bodies more (including brain) than their tongues but it didn't go down very well."

Not very diplomatic, but as an ex-manager, I know so true!!!!!

I hope the business changes soon work out to cause you less hassle rather than more.
