Bad day

So I was totally in a foul mood after last night's meeting. I didn't really want to arrange a meeting because there was nothing to have a meeting for but my "advisor" didn't want to break the tradition. As a result we have had a really bad meeting.

I came very late and got up early to catch up on work as I had booked in a seminar for the afternoon. After a circle or two of the city I managed to find a parking place. It was raining. As I was crossing the road to get in the building a car drove past really close at a speed splashing me with the dirty water. Just charming! My foul mood went even more foul.

As I entered the building I saw a thin blank faced man sitting on the Reception. He looked at me, I looked at him and we both got confused as what to do. I asked if I needed to report my arrival or just make my way through the second glass door. He asked something at the same time and neither of us could hear each other and we got more confused. Eventually we worked out what I was there for and he gave me an ID necklace asking me to sign in. I signed on the next available space as he observed. Then he said I have signed in the wrong place! I was to find my name out of 6 page list and sign against it. While I was reading all the names through and coming to the 6th page he said to look on the last page! Yes great I was on the last page.

I proceeded to get to the room on the top floor. As I came out of the lift I saw I needed to go through another set of doors. They looked closed. After a while I realised that the neck dangler was the remote to open the door! I tried and tired but it would not work. Luckily some people were coming up the lift and they manage to open the door so I followed them. As it turns out I was in the wrong session. It was a seminar for the farmers.

By the time I was escorted to my room I was worn out with stress! Apparently the building is used for training only but it was like getting in MI5 offices. At the end of the seminar I stayed with the other people in case I couldn't get out. To end the bad day worse I got stuck in traffic while a dozen or so police cars on some mission flew past on the road ahead .
