Great. Not sure this was following my threat in the last blog or co-incident, I forgot to ask, but it was lovely to be taken out for a meal with door to door service too.

Had some snow flakes around lunch time but then it was raining. It was dark and miserable and then got call to ask if I could take some time off work and can I be ready to go out. Normally when I go out with friends I take my car in case I am called back home unexpectedly by the sickie, so it was nice to be driven for a change.

I stayed away from wine tonight. Wine is only for the special effects! I still haven't understood why I get tipsy in a couple of glasses of wine but I can drink gallons of other things before it makes a difference. By the way wine includes Champagne too, hint hint!! So a few Vodka and diet cokes later the meal tasted very yummy. Had a good chat and giggles and put the world to right.

Taking a layer or two off a workoholic protective cover may not be so bad after all.
