Packing but not unpacking

Can I not be excused from Christmas this year??????? Or can I have it in two months' time? I have got soooo much to do, it is not fun at all.

As it turns out I have a buyer for my property who wants to complete immediately instead of January as planned. I have been trying to get all the stuff sorted, packed, discarded and moved out of the place in just a couple of days. It is not an easy sight to watch a woman who can't make her mind up what she wants to keep and what she wants to throw! My assistant had started with a full head of hair who is nearly bald now tearing her hair out. I am sure she has broken a few things on purpose so that I don't have the dilemma of deciding. Everything there is useful and to bring it all with me is tempting but where am I going to store it all? For a woman who doesn't know the difference between a spanner and a plier I don't think I have done bad dismantling the place in just two days!

All smaller personal items are packed. All the things not possible to bring have been packed and taken to the refuse tip.(story about it tomorrow). I find it annoying that the money spent on the furniture will be wasted as I don't have the time to sell it. I have to convince myself that I am not going to mess the sale up for the sake of a bit of furniture. Once I hand the keys over to the buyer and not to forget - hand the money over to the bank - I will feel less stressed.

I am trying to write my Christmas cards in between too. No shopping done yet. Going to bed early tonight so that the bags under my eyes don't take the size of Santa's sacks instead of the bags. As long as some one from a call centre some where in wilderness don't wake me up at 6 am like this morning !!!

So poor Mr. Blunkett has given up now? I say, what's the point in doing a job if one can't have a few perks?
