On the up

By the look of things I can kind of hope that the life is on the up, albeit for a short while. As from Saturday my stress load is halved, in theory at least. Two offices closed and just one left to concentrate on. I still have stuff to do and things to move before I can sell the property but it is a bliss not to worry about ringing alarms in the early mornings or dread the staff absentees.

I would feel as if I am going backwards and would feel my career less important but Thursday/Friday has given me the taste of life that might give me the boost I need. Now that I will have less income I should be more careful about spending money but what do I do? I managed to lose a piece of jewellery the first time I am out enjoying myself! Another thing I must remember is NOT to drink large glasses of wine on all day empty tummy. Then again the trend has started. Why change it?

Sooo, it did feel different to be unemployed (having one office is not "work").

Cooked a meal for a friend and it was very good. Not done special meals for ages!
Went to the pictures.
Been shopping.
Going to a doggy Christmas party tomorrow.
Going for some shindig with my "Captain Birds Eye" friend on Friday.
Went for a coffee in a friend's house.
Stood outside the house talking to the neighbours.

My God.....I am becoming a normal person.......I think I will take back my own advice about NOT to drink large glasses of wine though.

Now that I am in "enjoying life" mode, you are welcome to join me before the phase passes!

I haven't turned a new leaf by the way. I am still going to moan and whinge. Starting with :To all organised people : I hate all of you who have sent your Christmas cards and done Christmas shopping, just because I am so late every year.XX
P.S. Would you believe I got my first Christmas card this year in the last week in October??????
