Merry Christmas
I thought I wont get up at usual time in the morning but the dog got me up to go out. I remember last year we went for a long walk. Unfortunately this year just had to have a trot around the little pond at the back of the road. Sun was just coming out and it looked beautiful although it's so dirty around the pond with people leaving the rubbish every where. So much for the weather forecast of White Christmas! The ducks started to follow us around the pond as we were walking. It was magic! I wish I learn to take pictures and learn how to upload them, then I can show you what I mean. Once things are settled workwise I might join a study course.
We are going to a dear friend's house late afternoon. Since both of us on our own and he is alone too we decided at the last minute to get together. It will be a little struggle as he lives in a flat and no lift so getting the stairs will create lot of whinging but I will say think of it as a onces a year excercise. We will cook and spend the rest of the day with him so that is lovely too. I feel sad that the dog will be on her own but she sleeps a lot these days. I will take her out before we go so she will be tired anyway and then leave her lots of chews to munch on to keep her busy. You will laugh when I say this but I put the TV on for the dog too.
I feel really sorry for all the people in the world who are ill or starving and finding hard to survive while I moan about little problems in my life!
I hope you have your loved ones with you on this Christmas day. If they are away just let them know you miss them. I am just going to ring mum, brother and sister. Hope you have a good journey if you are travelling. Let us all of us have a happy and peaceful day.
