No call from Hollywood.

So my 30 second of glory is over. Two and a half hours of filming and five minutes on good old telly hasn't made me famous enough to give up my day job. Still, not everyone can say they have had a television interview so I am a little chuffed. Not that this was my first time, many years ago I have been on a few times in connection with my cultural activities. The subject was work related so at least the staff had a bit of excitement telling everyone about it. I can also confirm that media can manipulate every word you utter to their benefit but on the whole it was not a bad experience.

I spent an evening in a meeting which went reasonably well. I was looking at approximately 35 faces looking at me, listening to what I had to say. All the time I was thinking it is very well exchanging pleasantry with these people, talking about things, laughing and joking, but if you really look at it, nobody really cares about what happens to you. I know so many people but hardly have any real friends! I just want someone to do normal things with, things that people take for granted. There are so many things I want to do.
Those 9 nights of dancing is nearly over and I have not got a single friend I could go with. I must make new friends, as soon as I have time, LOL.
