One Year today Life goes on - Poem
A year has gone
But memories not faded
Life is moving on
But rhythm is disrupted
You have gone forever
I am often reminded
But your presence is here
In the friendship we created
Jay drew the outlines
My colours were shaded
You were the blank canvas
Of the picture we painted
Now we both miss you
The “gang” is separated
Without the main link
The golden chain is degraded
In the little boy’s walk and talk
Your image is paraded
But losing his father so young
Is like treasure being raided
Young lonely woman
Whose happiness got evaporated
Life has to go on
she has to be persuaded.
